With business partners, service vendors, authorized third-party agents or contractors to provide a requested service or transaction, including processing orders, hosting websites, storing your information, providing email communications on our behalf and providing customer support. For example, when making purchases on the torraslife.com website stores, torraslife.com uses a payment processor to verify your payment card information. Your payment card information is passed through to the payment processor and is not collected or stored by torraslife.com. The payment processor is authorized to use this information only to authenticate your purchase and for no other purpose. We only provide these third parties with the minimum amount of personal information necessary to complete or provide the requested service or transaction, and we do not allow third parties to use your personal information for a different purpose than what was disclosed to you.

 

With service providers, advisors or other third parties to the extent reasonably necessary to proceed with the negotiation or completion of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or a portion of our assets. If torraslife.com merges with or acquires or is acquired by another entity, personal information would be transferred as a whole to the successor entity

Fulfilment of legal obligations:

Due to the mandatory laws of the European Economic Area or the country in which the user lives, certain legal acts exist or have occurred and certain legal obligations need to be fulfilled. Treatment of personal data of EEA residents -- As described below, if you reside within the European Economic Area (EEA), our processing of your personal data will be legitimized: Whenever we require your consent for the processing of your personal data such processing will be justified pursuant to Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) ("GDPR").

We may share personal data with all our-affiliated companies. In the event of a merger, reorganization, acquisition, joint venture, assignment, spin-off, transfer, or sale or disposition of all or any portion of our business, including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings, we may transfer any and all personal data to the relevant third party. You may contact us to exercise your rights. We will respond to your request in a reasonable timeframe, and in any event in less than 30 days.

Supplemental Notice to California Residents

 

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”), becomes effective January 1, 2023. Covered businesses are required by law to comply with all stated statutory requirements, including the CCPA regulations currently in effect. Accordingly, Section 11 has been updated to reflect changes to the CPRA and to include content consistent with the CCPA regulations currently in effect. Note that any terms defined in the CCPA and CPRA have the same meaning in this section.
This Supplemental California Privacy Statement applies only to our processing of personal information that is subject to the CCPA and CPRA. The CCPA and CPRA provide California residents with the right to know what categories of personal information TORRAS collected before January 1, 2022, and whether TORRAS disclosed that personal information for a business purpose (such as to a service provider).           “Sale or Sharing” of Personal Information under the CCPA & CPRA
          Under the definitions of CCPA & CPRA, EcoFlow does not “sell or share” personal information, nor do we have actual knowledge of any “sale or sharing” of personal information of minors under 16 years of age.
          “Limiting the Use of Sensitive Personal Information” under the CPRA
          Under the CPRA, you have the right to limit the use of your personal information to the purposes for which the sensitive information was collected.
          Additional Privacy Rights for California Residents
          • Non-Discrimination. California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of their rights conferred by the CCPA & CPRA.
          • Authorized Agent. Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. To designate an authorized agent, please contact us as set forth in “Contact Us” below and provide written authorization signed by you and your designated agent.
          • Verification. To protect your privacy, we will take steps the following steps to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. When you make a request, we will ask you to provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative, which may include asking you for additional proof of identity and asking questions regarding your account and use of our Services.

          • California Shine the Light. California “Shine the Light” law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of personal information disclosed to those parties.
          • Right for minors to remove posted content. Where required by law, California residents under the age of 18 may request to have their posted content or information removed from the publicly-viewable portions of the Services by contacting us directly as set forth in “Contact Us” below or logging into their account and removing the content or information using our self-service tools.

           

          Supplemental Notice for Nevada Residents

          If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to opt out of the sale of certain Personal Information to third parties who intend to license or sell that Personal Information. Please note that we do not currently sell your Personal Information as sales are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.
